Now, if you recall, Team Thompson stands firm against pesky body parts, such as gall bladders, collar bones, kidneys and adenoids. You can read more about our stance and the list of parts we are against in this previous post.
All light-“hearted” humor aside, this is a serious surgery and we ask for you to keep Ging in your prayers, asking for her to feel at peace with the situation and for a speedy and comfortable recovery. We also ask that you keep our family in mind as we prepare for mom’s surgery and recovery. We’re all doing ok now, but of course we’re a little nervous. Overall, we’re extremely thankful that these issues were discovered early on and that there is a solution to the problem.
I will at some point be making a trip to Grandview. We find out later today when the surgery will be so we’ll keep everyone posted.
.....UPDATE....
Team Thompson has another new enemy…roots. Tooth roots, to be exact.
Justin, after trooping through a weekend of near-crippling pain, has been informed he needs a root canal. His appointment is schedule for Thursday morning. We’re happy we were able to find a dentist Justin was able to see today and that they were able to identify the source of his pain. Keep ol’ JT in your prayers this week, too!

Thinking about all of you!
Oh, I volunteer to take you to Grandview! I'll do whatever I have to to spend some time with my dear 'ole friend Christine :-)
